Meetings
Regular meetings are held once a month, generally alternating between lunch
and evening meetings. The purpose of these meetings is to inform members
of current and future developments regarding business in Hokkaido/Japan.
It is also an opportunity for members to share opinions, ideas, and helpful
hints that they have found valuable in their personal or professional lives
here in Hokkaido. Meetings often feature an introduction to facilities or
services or a guest who speaks on topics relevant to international business.

Newsletter
HIBA News is published and sent out by e-mail or fax every month. Contents
include meeting summaries, upcoming meetings and event information, readers'
comments and opinions, and other relevant information. The
current issue as well as back issues of HIBA News can also be found
on this website.
Special
Events
In addition to the regular meetings, HIBA participates in a variety of
business, recreational, and sporting events. Most recently HIBA hosted
The International Food & Drink Festival. There are also annual parties
for members and their families during "Hanami", Summer Festival,
Christmas, and others.
